Our senior student, Jim Desantis, was tested and promoted to the rank of Ik-kyu (first degree brown belt)! Jimmy is a model student who not only studies and trains hard, but assists with teaching the students and passing his knowledge along. He’s been through some ups and downs but he keeps coming back and refuses to quit. Next stop…BLACK BELT!!!

Yesterday my senior black belt Michael Arbore was promoted to the rank of Hachidan, 8th degree , a well deserved recognition for his knowledge, teaching abilities, talent and expertise. Plus the many years of dedication. He was promoted by my sensei Doug King and sanctioned by Bill Shank , Mr King's sensei. I am very proud of you and happy for you , so well deserved
