The Pechatsko’s and friends recently enjoyed their High Roller raffle winnings with an unforgettable evening at The Aviator where they were treated to a chef’s tasting dinner perfectly paired with wines. What a fantastic experience!

Mrs. Wilson’s 2nd grade class at Surrarrer received a grant from the SEF for six round tables for the classroom. The students recently began using them and Mrs. Wilson reports that they have already made a meaningful impact on student learning. “The new setup made it easy to facilitate collaborative group work during CKLA, enhancing both engagement and interaction.”

The SEF loves to see its grant dollars at work helping students learn in all different environments!

The Strongsville Education Foundation hosts one fundraiser each year - our highly anticipated Casino Night in November! One of the most coveted raffle prizes is “Principal for a Day” at our elementary schools.

This year’s winner at Whitney Elementary School was Lucas! 🎉 He enjoyed an unforgettable day that included lunch with Mrs. Hawk and friends, visits to classrooms throughout the school, and even assisting with the afternoon dismissal announcements.

The Strongsville Education Foundation is proud to support innovative learning in our schools! We were excited to grant a request for whiteboards at Surrarrer Elementary to support the implementation of Building Thinking Classrooms (BTC) practices in their classrooms.

Whiteboards have been shown to dramatically improve student thinking, participation, and understanding by encouraging collaboration, problem-solving, and active learning. We are grateful for the opportunity to support our teachers and students as they continue to create engaging and meaningful learning experiences every day.

We are incredibly proud that SEF has the opportunity to sponsor the STEMstangs and support such a talented, hardworking group of students. We would like to congratulate the team on their outstanding performance at the FTC State Championship, where they earned 2nd place for the Design Award - an amazing accomplishment!

Their creativity, teamwork, and dedication truly stood out, and we are excited to see what the future holds!
