The Strongsville Cooperative Preschool, located at 15245 Tracy Lane, is a non-profit corporation that is owned and operated by its parent members. The school employs experienced teachers and aides who direct the school programs and work with the parents to make this preschool experience the very best it can be. It has been in operation since 19
59 and was the first preschool in Strongsville. It is run by a governing board. Parents come in once a month during the child's class to help with activities and for an opportunity to observe their child in a classroom setting. We work together to let each child express himself according to his abilities – social, emotional, physical, and intellectual. We work together to encourage each child to be an individual and to experience life away from his family. We work together to promote a useful exchange of ideas between parents and teachers. Our preschool offers your child a chance to play comfortably with other children in a happy and unique atmosphere geared to his interests and needs. Sharing a preschool day can help form a special bond between child and parents. In addition, we offer the parent opportunities for interacting with children and other parents who face similar pleasures and challenges.
