WEST CENTRAL FOOTBALL IN PLAYOFFS
Biggsville WCHS Football Field - OCT. 29 - FRIDAY 7 pm

The Heat (7-2) who have qualified for the Illinois state playoffs will host Decatur Lutheran School Assoc. at WC Biggsville field in the 1st round of 8-man football playoffs on this Friday, October 29. Kickoff will be at 7:00 p.m.
West Central Heat football boys won Saturday, Oct. 23rd in the 8-Man-Varsity game, 38-0 against South Forks. (stats were not made available).

The week of Oct. 17th, 97.7 wmoi/am 1330 fm/94 warm announced Athletes of the Week which included West Central’s.
The West Central Heat Athlete of the Week is junior football player, Parker Meldrum #35. Parker has been a force on both sides of the ball this year for the Heat. In his team's win over Peoria Heights last week, he had 50 yards rushing and ten total tackles on defense. For the season, Parker has gotten into the endzone four times and garnered 59 total tackles.

The date for the next Stronghurst High School reunion is set for June 26,2021. For those who may not have been keeping track it will be 50 for Class of 1971.
Zack Stamp said he posted this with hopes that he can track down everyone including those who were with the class at some point but not at graduation. So they can hold an additional get together the night before. Jane Fort Edwards, Janell Rehms Cleland, Janet Rehling Richardson, Jay Stevenson, Jeffery Wilson, Bill Forrester, Patricia Lillard Piper, Paula Hise, Sonja Strange, Margaret Ann Vancil. Even some of my friends on facebook haven't changed their school to this page. A lot of them have Southern High School from different states.

It's important to not only like the page, but in your information to change it to the correct school. This way we can all stay in touch and keep track of any happenings associated with the old school!
