✏️📚 Learning Together in Mrs. Snypes’ 6th Grade ELA!

Today, our 6th graders worked together to deconstruct a narrative essay as they prepared for an upcoming writing assignment. Students collaborated to identify the key parts of a strong narrative, discuss effective writing techniques, and learn from one another. 📝✨

We’re building confident writers one step at a time! 💙📖

There really is no better way to study dividing with fractions than by using a recipe and making homemade bread and butter! These 6th graders in Mrs. Abbey’s class enjoyed learning the science and math behind baking and then enjoyed the results!

🐊🐢🦝 We went WILD in the library today! 🐍🦫🦊

Stringer Elementary Library had a wild and fun day welcoming Mrs. Huseman from the Mississippi Science Museum for a special visit! Our students learned about some unique Mississippi animals, got to feel real pelts of many animals, and had the experience to pet a real-life gopher tortoise and an alligator. We want to give a huge thank you to the outreach program for traveling to our school and bringing science to life for our students. We loved getting WILD about learning in the library today, and we hope you love seeing some of our pictures!
