My how time flies!! CrAfter Hours is here once again!! Join us on Friday, May 15, 1-9pm & Saturday, May 16, 10am-10pm at the Craft Corner. It’s an excellent opportunity to work on whatever project you like while sharing time with fellow crafters. On Friday evening, we will order out for dinner. Saturday’s lunch menu features tacos with all the fixin’s. Please let us know if you plan on attending. We need to know how many to plan on for lunch. Space is limited so don’t delay!! NEW CLASS!! This handy hanging thread catcher & pin cushion is a must have for any sewist!! Keep your sewing area tidy & your sewing pins at hand by joining us to make this 2 week project!! Class will begin on Tuesday, August 4 @ 5:30. The cost of this 2 1/2 hour class is $20. A supply list will be given at sign up. Space is limited so sign up soon!!

We will be offering the sewing machine cover & mat class starting on Tuesday, June 16 from 5:30-8 pm. This class will run for 5 weeks & the cost is $50. A supply list will be available upon signing up. This is a quilt as you go project. We will have the printed batting for you to purchase at the first class. Don’t delay…class size is limited!!

There was plenty of excitement in the air at our beginner quilt class last night. We’re in varying stages of completion with some to the point of laying out their finished blocks in preparation for sewing the top together. Here’s a peek at their progress with more photos to come!!

Lots of things are happening at the Craft Corner!! We’re making great progress on our paper pieced snowflakes!! We’re in various stages of being finished but things are moving along nicely. Our Sultan of Stitchin, Gary Riss, is doing a fantastic job guiding us through the process.

I know you were wondering so here you go!! Crafter Hours for April will be on Friday, April 24, 1-9pm & on Saturday, April 25, 10am-10pm. Dinner on Friday evening will be ordered out. Saturday’s lunch will feature Italian beef sandwiches & chips along with other sides & dessert. Please comment below if you’d like to join us!! Another quilt class off to a great start with 12 amazing ladies. Tonight we worked on sewing a perfect quarter inch seam, sorted our jelly roll strips and began construction. In just 9 weeks our quilts will be done. Stay tuned for up dates of these beautiful split rail quilts!!
