Streator Elementary School District #44

Our thoughts are with the members of the Streator community who were affected by today’s severe weather. We know that some of our own staff and families are among those impacted, and we will be working closely with them to offer any support we can.

Streator is an incredibly strong, close-knit community, and we are confident that we will all come together to help our neighbors through this. Stay safe, everyone.

Congratulations to the Northlawn Junior High Class of 2026! We want to extend a huge thank you to all of our graduates for your hard work, dedication, and for being such an amazing class of students. You have made our entire school community incredibly proud, and we wish you the absolute best as you take this next big step.

We also want to express our gratitude to the Northlawn staff, administration, and the 8th grade team. Thank you for your meticulous planning and flawless ex*****on to put together such a wonderful graduation ceremony for our students and families. Your dedication ensured our graduates received the beautiful send-off they deserved.

What an incredible day at Kimes Elementary! Our students absolutely rose to the challenge for our Attendance Challenge, showing up every day and working together toward our end-of-year goals.

Because of their amazing efforts, our students officially hit their goal. They earned the ultimate reward of seeing Mr. Risley and Mr. K get pied in the face, and Mrs. Ketcham was officially duct-taped to the wall. Great job to all of our students for their outstanding attendance and dedication.

Is field day the best day of the year? We think so!
