Ms. Lorena’s preschoolers have officially wrapped up their ice cream unit! Their classroom was filled with creativity and hands-on learning as the children turned the dramatic play area into an ice cream shop along with an icecream truck (cart). They practiced important language, social, and math skills by taking orders, reading menus, operating a cash register, counting scoops and learning how ice cream is made. They also played with ice cream Playdoh, created melting ice cream crafts, and taste tested a variety of ice cream flavors while answering a simple yes-or-no question about whether they liked each one. To end the unit, they made their very own ice cream in a bag and enjoyed their sweet treat outside!

Friendly arrival/dismissal reminders:
1. Please do not block our neighborhood driveways. We have had a few phone calls that this is happening.
2. For safety purposes we also ask that you do not get out of your car at dismissal and call to your child. Please wait in your car until you can pull up and our team can help get your child into the car.

Thank you for partnering with us for a successful arrival and dismissal!

Miss. Payton said when Creed was in the library he quietly listened to the story and quickly picked his book. He also stood in line with a buckle and a bubble and spoke in a whisper voice.
Way to follow library expectations!

Ms. Jordan's classroom transformed into a great big camping adventure! Our circle time area became a cozy tent complete with logs and a pretend campfire. 🔥
We built our fine motor skills and expanded our camping vocabulary while making colorful lanterns and identifying animal tracks we spotted around our tent. 🐾🏕️ We wrapped up our exciting day gathered around the “fire,” enjoying a camping story and, of course, some tasty s’mores! 🍫🔥

It was a fun-filled day of learning, exploring, and making wonderful camping memories right in our classroom!
