We had a beautiful day for the annual parish picnic on Saturday! It was wonderful to see so many school families supporting SJE parish!

The Streamwood Police Department and Hope, our K9 friend, joined us to welcome students as they came into school this morning. We were even applauded for our smooth drop off procedures. Thank you to our families for helping with this new transition!

In their religion classes, our 5th and 6th graders started off the year with a Scripture Search that tasked them to look up specific texts from the Bible and then connect each of those passages to part of the Nicene Creed. Students grew very confident in their ability to look up text! It was wonderful to see how proud they were when they matched all three pieces!.

We had a fantastic evening for back to school movie night! Thank you to all the families who were able to come. Thank you to PTC and all the parent volunteers. Thank you to the Herling family and Sweet Baby Ray’s for donating the proceeds back to SJE’s PTC!
