🦷 Mobile Dentist Reminder

We are still in need of a few more students to register for our upcoming Mobile Dentist visit on September 10th! At this time, we do not have enough registrations for the event to take place.

If you would like your child to participate, please return the Mobile Dentist form by Wednesday, August 26th. Families may also register online here:

We need at least 20–25 students registered in order for the Mobile Dentist to come to Tri Elementary. If we do not meet the minimum number of registrations, the visit will need to be cancelled.

A message of gratitude from Mrs. Hamm:

This week has been full of challenge for our dear community. The flooding has brought loss, uncertainty, and circumstances no family should have to navigate.

But today, I witnessed so much good among the people of South Henry.

I watched people give selflessly. I received message after message from people simply asking, “What is needed?” and “How can I help?” People showed up with supplies, offered their time, checked on neighbors and friends, and were willing to go get whatever was needed for someone else.

There is still work to do. There are still families walking through some really difficult days. But tonight, I am incredibly grateful for this community and the way people have wrapped their arms around one another.

The sun will shine tomorrow. And when it does, there will still be neighbors helping neighbors, friends caring for friends, and a community continuing to find and cultivate good, even after the storm.

Proud to be a Titan. Grateful to call South Henry home. 🫶

As Titans, we believe that even in the midst of difficult circumstances, there is always an opportunity to cultivate good.

The recent storms and flooding have impacted families throughout our community, and we want our Tri families to know that you do not have to walk through this season alone. We are committed to caring for one another, supporting one another, and finding ways to help where we can.

If your family has experienced damage to your home, displacement, loss of belongings, or other needs as a result of the storms, please take a few moments to complete our Needs Assessment. Your responses will help us better understand the needs within our Titan community.

Thanks to our amazing partners at Tri Jr.-Sr. High School, we have food bags, hygiene bags, and large boxes of cereal available under the awning by the front entrance of the high school office. Please take what you need, no questions asked.

If your family has a need but you’re unable to get to the high school, please reach out. We have people who are willing to deliver supplies to you.

In the storm, we will keep choosing hope.
In the hardship, we will keep choosing compassion.

South Henry School Corporation is delaying student dismissal due to severe weather in the area. We will continue to monitor conditions and anticipate a 15 - 20 minute delay in regular dismissal. Thank you for your understanding.
