Little Village Daycare closed in October, 2023 after serving Stratton-area families for more than 5 years.

LVD was recently able to disburse remaining funds and we are proud to report that we were able to give back generously to the community that so kindly supported us while we were open. Funds were donated to organizations that supported us in addition to projects benefiting area youth. 🥰

Organization/projects receiving donations include:

🔹Stratton Area Chamber of Commerce
🔹Stratton Community Fund Drive
🔹New Beginnings
🔹Women in Faith
🔹Stratton Swimming Pool

It is bittersweet to formally end this chapter, but thankful we could bless other community organizations. Thank you all for your support! 🩷❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜

After more than 5 years of providing daycare services for children in the Stratton and area communities, it is with broken hearts that we announce the closing of Little Village Daycare. With all of the ups and downs that all small businesses face, we have decided that we have no other option but to close the doors to the daycare. Our staff and volunteers have poured their hearts into LVD and we appreciate the opportunity to help your littles grow and learn.
Little Village Daycare received its name because it truly takes a village to raise a child. We are humbled by the love and support over the years and could not have made it this far without all of the entities and individuals who have been involved. THANK YOU to each and every individual and organization who donated time, money, supplies and equipment. We want to say a huge THANK YOU to Grandview Community & Events Center for believing in the dream to have a daycare in our community and allowing us the space in their building. Any funds left over after we work through the closing of the business will be donated back to the organizations and community who so generously supported us.

The Little Village Daycare is still looking for full time, part time or substitute employees to fill a couple open shifts. We will consider anyone with one to 40 hours a week availability! We can work with whatever your schedule is. No weekends!
Delayed hiring bonus of $200 for an applicant who is hired for 20+ hours per week. Bonus will be paid after three months of employment. Meals and free hugs included.

Like many in our area, we’ve faced hiring challenges and are currently looking at closing our daycare due to lack of staff. This will be a great loss for the community as well as the families that we now serve.
