Good morning! We have several unpaid opportunities for local actors to participate in the development of a new play which is being workshopped in Stratford from August 23-27th as part of a Shakespeare Academy@Stratford Phoenix Residency. The name of the play is I’m So Hot by Will Steinberger and Catherine Weingarten. It is about young lovers navigating s*x, infidelity and romance. It’s adapted from Marivaux’s La Dispute and it dives into raw emotions and playful, candy-filled comedy in equal parts. Who cheats first? Men or women? What if they’re both insanely hot? In this girly adaptation, a Prince captures hot people to see who cheats first!! it’s like olden day French reality tv. As it deals with some adult themes so older teens, college students and adults would be ideal.
