🐝 Our little learners are buzzing with
excitement!
We’re exploring the wonderful world of bees - how they live, why they’re important, and how they help our flowers and plants grow.
From books and crafts to fun discussions, the children are learning that even the tiniest creatures can make a BIG difference in our world.

Smiles all around at Creative Starts Learning Center this week! A big thank you to Little Teeth & All About Kids for visiting and teaching our classrooms how to keep their teeth strong, clean, and healthy. 🪥🦷✨
From practicing proper brushing techniques to learning why healthy habits matter, our friends were fully involved and excited every step of the way. Experiences like this help children build confidence, develop lifelong routines, and discover that caring for their smiles can be fun too. Thank you for helping us inspire happy, healthy smiles! 💜💛

A heartfelt thank you to one of our wonderful parents, Mrs. McKay, and Nonnewaug High School’s English Honor Society for their generosity and support of our early childhood learning community! Through their efforts, over 65 books were collected and donated to our Oxford center, helping us continue to grow our classroom library and foster a love of reading among our young learners. We would also like to extend a special thank you to the two Honor Society students who visited our center and spent time reading to our children—your kindness and enthusiasm truly made the day extra special. We are deeply grateful for your thoughtfulness and support, which warmed our hearts and made a meaningful impact on our children. 📚💛💜

As the cold winter approaches we want to share some ways that outdoor winter play is beneficial to all children!
Some benefits of outdoor winter play are ….
-Building appreciation for seasonal changes
-Encouraging environmental awareness
-Provides rich sensory experiences (cold air, snow textures, sounds)
-Supports immune function through exposure to fresh air
-Vitamin D intake from winter sunlight
-May help reduce indoor germ spread by spending time outside
Please feel free to pack extra clothes, snowsuits, gloves, hats and boots for your little one to stay warm and bundled as they go outside!
