The countdown to graduation continues across our Diocese of Bridgeport schools, and the excitement continues to build. 🎓✨
Today, we celebrate St. James School, Stratford as their 8th grade marks this special milestone and continues the journey toward graduation.

Across Fairfield County, our 8th grade and 12th grade students are preparing to celebrate this meaningful moment as they look ahead to new adventures in high school and college. 📚🌟

These days are filled with reflection, gratitude, and anticipation for all that lies ahead, and we are so happy to celebrate alongside our students and school communities.

We warmly invite families to visit any of our schools across Fairfield County and experience the strong academics, faith filled communities, and meaningful traditions that make our schools so special. 💙🤍💛

During the month of May, we celebrate our Holy Mother, Mary. We do this by saying a decade of the Rosary each morning. We pray for Mary’s intercession and ask her to bring our prayers to her son, Jesus Christ.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

It was another beautiful day on the course for the St James Golf Club (except for that huge snapping turtle😬)! ☀️⛳️🏌️‍♂️

Yesterday we had the honor of touring John Maher and his lovely wife. John was a member of the second class to graduate St James School!

He and his wife stopped in Stratford on their way home to New Hampshire, from wintering in Florida.

According to John, some of the best memories of his childhood happened at 50 Harvey Place. While some things have changed inside and out, he still felt very much at home inside the school building and could recognized his classrooms.💚

🎉 Huge congratulations to our wonderful third-grade teacher, Ms. Green!
This past weekend, Ms. Green graduated from Quinnipiac University with her Master’s in Elementary Teaching!
She even had her whole class there with her in spirit 👋🏻💚 — their precious handprints proudly displayed on her graduation stole.
We are so incredibly proud of you, Ms. Green! Thank you for all you do for our students every single day. Your dedication and heart truly shine.

It was the perfect day for our first SJS Golf Club outing!
