Bunnell High School Class of 1972 Reunion

Class of 1972, I was asked to remind you that if you are planning on attending Bunnell's Graduation as a “Jubilee” guest on Monday, June 20th to please contact Pattie Darragh by this Wednesday. You may email her [email protected] or call the school 203-385-4250 and ask for Pattie.
Anyone who is going should meet in the auditorium lobby at 5:15. They are asking women to not wear heels due to the turf field. She suggests sunscreen and hats/sunglasses if you so wish.
People attending are thinking of meeting for “social time” after the graduation at Big Jim's on Ferry Blvd (recommended by Janice) as they have an outdoor patio.

BHS Class of 72 Classmates:
I received an email from Bunnell inviting us to this year’s graduation ceremony. The following is an excerpt from the email. Perhaps if enough people go we can plan to meet socially after the graduation.

“I am writing to you on behalf of Dr. Katie Graf, Interim Principal of Bunnell High School. It is with great honor and pride we would like to include the Class of 1972 to our 62nd Commencement that will take place on Monday, June 20 at 6 PM.
Anyone who is interested should call the school at 203-385-4250 and ask for myself, Pattie Darragh, BHS Head Secretary or if they would prefer to email me at [email protected].
We will be asking for the following information from them just in case of inclement weather or any other changes that should arise. Their name, phone number and email if they use one.
Graduation lasts about 2 hours.
The jubilees will meet at 5:15 in the auditorium lobby. They will be greeted by a staff member and myself. We will line-up and ready to proceed to the field by 5:45. We ask that the ladies do not wear heels due to the turf field and you may bring your hat/sunglasses
since the sun is still bright and hot at 6 PM. Please make sure they have sunscreen on, the turf retains the heat.”

Anyone that's interested in helping out for the reunion picnic come a little bit early there may be some cleanup and also some set up! We could use a couple of folding tables if anybody has an extra one and a couple of coolers. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Hey if you haven't sent your check in yet please at least tell Patty whether or not you're going to be there Friday night. Richie is kind enough to provide hors d'oeuvres but he needs to have an idea of how many people are going to be there. So please let us know!

If anyone wants to help out with the reunion and wants to meet Sat am at the beach--let me know!

Ok here goes--so far! Our picnic will be on Aug 26th from 5-10 -however in order to get the big pavilion we had to agree to take it "as is"! There is a road race before hand and we may need to do some cleanup! We will need some volunteers to come at 4!. We will also need "set-up" help and after picnic clean-up help!

The plan is to keep it simple!!
It will be BYO everything! We will provide some snack food and a bag of charcoal if anyone wants to cook something! We could use some folding tables for snacks! I would also suggest bringing a chair or two!
We will be extending the invitation to the classes of 1970-73!

Patti is trying to compile a list of email addresses so please message yours to her--and anyone else you know of. Since not everyone is on FB or emails all the time PLEASE contact as many people as you can think of to spread the word about Friday at Stonebridge as well as the Picnic!
