Our halls look a little brighter these days. 🎨

Last Friday, we welcomed students, families, educators, and community members for the opening of the 2026 Stratford Student Art Showcase.

For the next few weeks, Sterling's Exhibit Room will be home to an incredible collection of artwork created by Stratford students from kindergarten through high school — each piece telling its own story and reflecting the creativity that helps make our community so special.

We're grateful to Stratford Public Schools and the Arts Alliance of Stratford for allowing us to host this annual celebration of student talent.

Last week, our community came together at our 21st annual Celebrity Breakfast to celebrate the incredible impact athletics can have on young people.

Congratulations again to Bob Mastroni, our 2026 Sterling Spirit Award Recipient, whose dedication has shaped generations both on and off the field. 👏

And thank you to Maria Conlon for sharing stories from her UConn days, lessons learned from legendary coaches and teammates, and her perspective on the future of women’s sports. Her message was a powerful reminder of what sports can do for confidence, leadership, and opportunity.

Because of the incredible support of our sponsors, attendees, and donors, we’re proud to share that the event added more than $26,000 directly into Sterling’s Financial Aid Fund — helping ensure that cost is never a barrier for kids and families to participate in Sterling programs. 💚🧡🩷💙
