Learning through play is something I hold near and dear to my heart! Today was solid proof that you can achieve curriculum goals while still having FUN learning! Many of my students came to me without a solid sound/ symbol awareness, but through a combo of systematic, direct instruction and play- based learning, they are LOVING our “Breakfast Book” Club. They come in and ask for the book baskets. This is the best teacher appreciation gift I could ever receive. The gift of teaching children to love reading❤️
… and of course our days wouldn’t be complete without storybook yoga!!
