Boothe Memorial Astronomical Society has a busy weekend. Friday night we'll be at the observatory in Boothe Park. Items we'll be observing include Saturn, Neptune, Uranus, Globular Clusters, Galaxies, and Nebula. The Moon won't be up while we're there. We start at 8pm, and are apt to be there until around 10pm.
Saturday afternoon from Noon to 4pm we'll be doing safe solar viewing as part of the Pumpkin Festival. There have been a lot of sun spots this year. We'll also be selling donuts as a fund raiser.
Visiting is free. We're kid friendly.
