-Spam or comments that include links to external online sites
-Conduct that is otherwise in violation of School Board policies or that reasonably may lead to the substantial disruption of or material interference with SCPS school operations
Comments in violation of these terms and conditions may be removed from the applicable SCPS official social media platform. Users are encouraged to report content that violates the social media platform's Terms and Conditions by using the official procedure for the applicable social media platform. Individuals should be aware that their comments or posts on social media may be subject to the Virginia Freedom of Information Act and records retention requirements. Shenandoah County Public Schools may be obligated to retain public comments in its records and/or disclose the information if requested.

It was so much fun welcoming our elementary students and families last night! We loved seeing familiar faces, meeting new students, and feeling the excitement for the year ahead. 📚✨

Tomorrow we officially kick off a new school year, and I can’t wait to see everyone back in the building! Here’s to a year full of learning, growth, creativity, and lots of fun. 🐏💜

In less than three weeks, the courtyard at Sandy Hook was transformed from a patch of grass with a couple picnic tables into the beautiful Purple Patio!

Thank you to SHES Art Teacher Rayanna Davis, the SHES Admin Team, the Moore Educational Trust, and Matt Sandretzky with Green Stripes LLC and his team of helpers for turning this outdoor space into one where students and staff can learn, gather, and enjoy nature for years to come!
