The Piano Studio of Anne Teare Anne Teare has been teaching piano effectively and enthusiastically for 33 years. She has a B.M. in Performance and a M.M. in Piano Pedagogy.

The piano is an ideal first instrument and a great way to introduce music into your life. Playing the piano has also been linked to higher scores on tests measuring spatial reasoning (a skill used in math, science, and engineering), higher SAT test scor

es, and improvement in the brain's neural circuitry. Other benefits include self discipline, stress relief, increased focus, patience, and a sense of accomplishment. These are things of value that will last a lifetime! Anne Teare is an experienced instructor with a passion to instill a love for music and cultivate the talent within each budding musician. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA, where she was the recipient of numerous awards, including the Seibert Medal for Outstanding Senior Pianist. She also obtained her Master of Music Degree in Piano Pedagogy from Kent State University. In addition to 30 years teaching experience, Anne has been performing for nearly 33 years and is currently on the Worship Team at Riverwood Community Chapel in Kent.
