The Banana Leaf Daycare

After six years, I am closing the Banana Leaf Daycare. I have helped so many adorable babies over the years and it is still strange to think how big some of them are now!
The daycare officially closes the last week in July this year.

The kids love these baked donuts!
3 tablespoons melted butter
1/4 cup applesauce
1/3 cup apple juice
1 egg
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
I mix the flower and baking powder together, then add the wet ingredients. I also sprinkle in some cinnamon. Bake in a donut shaped baking pan, 350°F for 9 to 10 minutes. Right after I take them out, I spread on butter and sprinkle cinnamon sugar. So yummy!

I save cardboard rolls and cut them into a fan shape for painting. They made great fireworks for Independence Day and now turkey feathers for Thaksgiving. Lol. There were turkeys under all the paint!
