First day of the year! Ending a great first week back with students.

Each member of our Roland-Story team received a t-shirt with Anchored in History. Forged for the Future. on the back as a welcome back gift this year.

Staff will wear them periodically as we join together for the different milestones of each school year.

We are also excited to share our continued efforts to celebrate our past and discover what the future brings for Roland-Story!

📣 14 Days Until the PPEL Election!

🗳️ Vote in two weeks on Tuesday, September 8.

The Roland-Story Community School District is asking the community to extend the Physical Plant and Equipment Levy (PPEL) for another 10 years. Supported by local residents for nearly 40 years, PPEL is a critical source of funding for our schools. 🏫

𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙖𝙡 𝙬𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙪𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙩 𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙡𝙮 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨, and because this measure is a renewal of an existing levy, 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝘅 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀.

PPEL funds may be used for essential school needs, including:

🔨 Construction and improvement of buildings
📍 Property purchases
🚌 School buses
💻 Technology equipment
💡 Energy-conservation upgrades
