The T2 Center has been in Newington for the past couple of days offering a new Fiber 101 class on Understanding Fiber Optic Technology and Solutions. Participants learned core concepts, including how fiber works, how networks are structured, and where key components are used. Attendees participated in interactive product stations, allowing them to see fiber solutions in action and connect classroom concepts to real-world applications. A special thank you to the team at AFL for sharing their expertise with CT agencies!

Road Scholar participants gathered in Middlebury today for the required Effective Communications Skills II workshop. Through lively discussions and interactive learning, participants explored strategies for delivering clear messages, adapting communication styles to different audiences, and strengthening their supervisory communication skills.

Led by instructor Sadie Rosethorn, participants are sharpening the communication skills needed to lead effectively, navigate challenges, and serve their communities with confidence. 💬✨

🛣️ Road Master Program participants were in Storrs today for the required All About Asphalt workshop, learning about pavement materials, maintenance treatments, and pavement distress identification.
The day also included a tour of the CT Advanced Pavement Lab with T2 Instructor Jim Mahoney, providing a behind-the-scenes look at pavement research and testing.
