It’s week 2 of our Ignite fundraiser! Make sure to donate and help us meet our goal! 🪐☄️🚀

Astronomy Association is UConn’s only undergraduate organization for all things space! We invite undergraduates from all majors to explore, discuss, and enjoy astronomy in a relaxed and educational environment. We organize observation nights, where we use our club telescopes and binoculars to observe the night sky. We also make trips to local observatories, planetariums, and sometimes even astronomy expos!

Your support helps us buy new equipment and arrange more experiences for UConn undergraduates to learn astronomy hands-on. Since our club is entirely student-run, we rely on donations to pay for guest speakers at meetings, purchase new equipment for observation nights, and pay travel and registration fees for events our club participates in. Any additional funds will be used to support the general activities of the group.

Our first meeting of the semester will be held this Tuesday 9/16 in Mchugh 111!! 🥳We’ll be introducing our club, followed by a little Kahoot with some prizes! We hope to see you all there!! 😁🪐

We hope you all had a relaxing summer, and are looking forward to this semester! This Wednesday (9/3) anytime from 2-6pm, outside of the Student Union, our club will have a table! This is a great opportunity for sign-ups and information on the Astronomy Association. We hope to see you all there! 🥳

Join us for our final meeting this semester!! We will be doing a scavenger hunt for prizes, along with a fun little end of semester celebration!! We hope to see you guys there 😁🔎💫

Join us tomorrow in SHH 104 at 8pm, where we will be exploring how origami impacted the design of the James Webb Telescope!! We will be doing some origami of our own, too 😉 🔭💫

Hey!! With midterms in full swing, we hope its going well for everyone! We’re hosting a fun meeting this Tuesday at 8pm in McHugh 111, where we’ll be making some galaxy slime! It’d be a great way to take a break and destress, while also getting creative! We’d love to see you there 🥳🌌

Our first meeting of this spring semester will be tomorrow Tuesday (2/25) @ 8 PM in McHugh 111!! We will be giving an overview of the club, talk about some of our plans for this upcoming semester, and play a fun game of Kahoot (a lucky someone might even get a gift card 😎).
