Strengthening UConn One Relationship at a Time

06/16/2026

Tiffany Chen '15 (BUS), a former UConn Alumni student worker, continues to make a meaningful impact as an active volunteer in the Greater Boston area.

She has led the Boston Alumni Network’s UConn Cares event for the past four years and consistently brings fellow Huskies together at events across the region. In April, she also championed UConn Gives, helping to generate nine gifts in support of the University.

Known for her warmth and welcoming smile, Tiffany makes every alum she meets feel instantly at home. Her passion for building the strongest alumni network in the country shines through in everything she does, and her reliability makes her one of the volunteers we can always count on.

Always eager to connect, Tiffany makes time to meet with fellow alumni and hear their UConn stories, strengthening the community one conversation at a time.

Thank you, Tiffany.

Wes Horton ’70 JD remembers the nerves when he argued a case in front of the Connecticut Supreme Court as a student in a law school competition — and the empowering feeling of winning.

“It was a moment when I really felt I was practicing law, as opposed to just learning law. I realized this was what I wanted to do with my life,” said Horton, who would later argue before the U.S. Supreme Court.

That’s why he and his wife Chloe are ensuring students have similar opportunities through their gift to UConn School of Law competition programs like moot court and mock trial. Read more at https://bit.ly/4enLvlX
