Today’s Senior👵🏻👨🏻🦳Spotlight is Gillian Foley, she went through with the class Gamma Tau Spring 2017 and was a member of the color guard section. During her time within the UConn Marching Band she held two grade representative positions, was a section leader for the color guard, and was a Band Captain! Within the Fraternity, she held various chair and coordinator positions and was the Vice President of Membership during her junior year. After graduation she will be continuing her education by starting graduate school for Speech-Language Pathology to become a certified SLP! Gillian says, “My favorite KKPsi memories are always the small things. The goosebumps during the hymn while holding hands with & , the countless laughs and dumb stories with my class throughout our three years, full show runs on our practice field, ALWAYS having someone to talk to, being VPM, being a Big, being a Grandbig, being a Great Grandbig, the smell of ritual candles, and Applebees. My biggest advice to those in the Fraternity is to get involved and to challenge yourself. Nothing changes if nothing changes.” 🌟❤️

Thank you Seniors, Class of 2020! Here is our first Senior👨🏻🦳👵🏻 Spotlight! This is Sara Linton, she went through with the Gamma Chi class Fall 2018, and was a member of the clarinet section. During her time within the UConn Marching Band she was the President and Social Coordinator. Within the Fraternity, she was Arts & Crafts coordinator. After graduation she will be continuing her education as a fifth year Master’s student in the Neag School of Education!📚 Sara says, “My favorite KKPsi memory was winning the top chapter award at the 2019 Northeast District Convention. It was such a special moment and really validated all of the hard work that everyone put in to make our chapter better & My advice for the chapter is to cherish every moment that you have in this band and in this fraternity. You never know if something will cut your experience short so enjoy it while you can! Go out to dinner with your family, have movie nights as a class, and participate in social events. Academics are important but it’s the friendships that you make during these four years that will last a lifetime.” Thank you, Sara! We love you!🌟❤️
