University of Connecticut’s B.R.A.I.N. Camp: A FREE 5-week summer day camp for rising 3rd and 4th graders who need extra support with reading! July 11th till August 12th at the University of Connecticut’s Storrs campus. Bus provided from Hartford. Neuroscience, reading/math, sports, arts, and museums! Are you looking for a free, educational, fun, professionally staffed summer day camp for your 2nd and 3rd grader? B.R.A.I.N. Camp may be a great place for your child if they struggle with reading. Once your child has met the eligibility requirements, it’s off to camp where they will receive a total of 45 lessons in a research-based math or reading intervention over the course of 5 weeks. Staffed by teachers, researchers, and highly qualified camp counselors, we are here to provide support for your struggling reader in a fun and safe environment. If your child has difficulty reading new words, decoding, or spelling, please feel free to express interest at the link below and explore the idea of B.R.A.I.N.
