Day 3 of Saratoga was a blast!! We started off with a trip to Congress Park where we befriended all of their resident ducks. After, we made our way to the Saratoga Casino and Raceway where we toured the barns, saw harness horses in training, saw the Harness Racing Hall of Fame, toured the paddock, and watched horses and drivers get ready for the races ahead. We were fortunate enough to watch many of the races and all of our girls got a chance to ride in the starting gate truck! We were also able to take a trip up to judges stand and to learn how the scoreboard works. A huge thank you to Karen Kamal of the Saratoga Harness Horseperson’s Association for acting as our tour guide and providing many of the opportunities we had over the course of the trip!
