06/24/2022

Have you been diagnosed with heart failure, or do you provide care/support to an elderly person with heart failure? If yes, you may be interested in participating in our research. We want to understand the symptoms experienced by persons with both heart failure and other chronic illnesses and their caregivers.
Participation involves a one-on-one interview at UCONN Storrs or by telephone lasting 1 hour, once a month for 4 months.
You may be eligible to participate if you:
• Have been diagnosed with heart failure and other chronic illnesses
• Are 60 years old or older
• Are English speaking
• Live in the community
• Have a caregiver/spouse/adult child willing to participate in study
You will be compensated with a $20 Visa gift card for each interview.
If you are interested, please contact Christine Tocchi PhD, APRN, GNP-BC Assistant Professor UCONN School of Nursing at [email protected] or send us a message.
