Social distancing? Here's a great educational opportunity you can join from home. People around the world continue to seek peace even in the midst of this pandemic. This round-table focuses on lessons from the peace community of San Jose de Apartado.
"This forum will take the lessons learned from peace communities and the protection of civilians in Colombia as a model for citizen protection mechanisms. It will then explore ways that the United States Congress and the international community can not only support these communities, but also step up in its protection of social leaders and civilians caught in conflicts worldwide and abandoned by their own governments."

Only in emergency cases in which health officials suspect a visitor of actually carrying the virus, they will be obliged to cooperate and be taken to a hospital for a check-up and possible treatment." We wish Colombia well in its efforts against Coronavirus.

"Peace eludes many parts of Colombia and conditions worsened in 2019 as forced displacements and attacks against medical missions increased, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) said on Wednesday."
