Thanks to recent coverage at The Atlantic of our research testing scalable mental health interventions, we got lots of requests from families hoping to access some of our brief, online supports.

So we built Project Y.E.S. (Youth Empowerment & Support): an anonymous, FREE platform for teens to learn coping skills & help others do the same!

http://schleiderlab.org/yes

Teens can try 3 different online, 30-40 minute activities. We are collecting anonymous pre- and post-program data as a way of seeing whether the activities target what we think—and to make them better, based on teens' feedback.

As part of Project Y.E.S., teens are invited to provide their *anonymous* advice for others who are struggling with depression, anxiety, or stress. This advice will be posted on our site, with their permission, for others to learn from.

Project Y.E.S. was deemed exempt from review by the IRB at Stony Brook University. All materials and programs are free for all kids and teens to access, in any order they want.

We want to learn from people, we want to make these activities as useful as they can be for youth mental health, and we don't want to wait anymore to do so.

Please share widely!!

Exactly why we do what we do! Brief, scalable supports are critical to combatting ever-longer waitlists.

Many providers don't take insurance because they say reimbursements are too low, forcing families to pay out of pocket.
