Join GSG in raising money and awareness on World Mental Health Day through a 45-minute ride! All proceeds are donated to Pal-O-Mine Equestrian, which also served as President Shirley’s first-year MSW internship. 🐴

Red Watch Band & Narcan Overdose Prevention Training! ❤️

In recognition of Overdose Awareness Day, GSG partnered with the Center for Prevention and Outreach for an educational training program.

Students learned how to recognize and respond to an overdose, received their Red Watch Band certification, and left with a free Narcan kit. We also learned more about campus and community resources available for substance use prevention, treatment and support.

Thank you to CPO for providing such an important training and helping SSW students feel more prepared to support others in an emergency. ❤️

Treasurer Aditiya Rashid spent her summer enjoying good music and good company! She explored Manhattan with her friend, enjoyed a beach day with fellow SBU students, saw Mamamoo in concert, and spent some quality time with her cat Junjun! 🐱

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our GSG Bake Sale this week to grab a sweet treat and kick off the new semester with us. We loved seeing so many familiar and new faces, and even had a special visit from Wolfie! 🐺

President Shirley Guenfoud mixed adventure with some of her favorite routines this summer! She studied abroad in Puerto Rico, taught aquatic fitness classes, celebrated milestones at CycleBar, cheered on her country in the World Cup with friends, and even attended medieval cage fighting! 🏰
