Happy Bisexuality Awareness Day!! Today is the day to celebrate bisexual people, the bisexual community, and bisexual history. Please take the time to learn how to be respectful to bisexual people and learn more about their identity. Educate yourself on misconceptions and show your support for the bisexual community!!

Stony Brook University’s LGBTQ* Services is excited to announce our 7th Annual Lavender Graduation!

Lavender Graduation is an LGBTQ* graduation celebration that was founded at University of Michigan by Dr. Ronni Sanlo in 1995. In the years since then, Lavender Graduation has spread to a number of universities and colleges around the country. Dr. Sanlo intended to create an event that would bring together LGBTQ* students for a chance to celebrate each other, their hard work, and their achievements.

Graduating LGBTQ* students from all academic backgrounds, undergraduate and graduate, are invited and encouraged to participate in the ceremony. Those who have graduated in December 2020 are also invited to participate.
