Shout out to Austen that took the lead today by reading a chapter of Hatchet aloud to Mrs. Morrison’s ELA class—he did an awesome job using expression and a great reading voice! 📖👏 After reading, he used sketches to break down an important scene and explain how that moment impacted the theme of the text. Such a fun way to combine reading, creativity, and deeper thinking! ✏️💡

6th grade girls got 2nd, Liliana got 7th overall. Claire got 10th and Brooklynn got 12. 7th/8th boys got 2nd with Zack finishing 6th and Briggs finishing 10th. Way to go, Griffins! Congratulations to all!

Our Griffins/Lady Griffins kicked off their XC season tonight, hosted by CMM. Our 7/8th Griffins, overall 2nd place and our 6th grade Lady Griffins, overall 2nd place!! Way to go!

Our Lady Griffins played great tonight but came up short on the win! 8th grade came out swinging, beating Ruston in the first set and had a close loss in the second set. They came up just shy of the win in the third set losing 14 to 16. So proud of our players! They played their hearts out! It’s a great night to be a Griffin!
