We also will work to empower family members to become engaged in their student’s academic success. Through the help of Inspire, we anticipate our students will achieve the following:
• Access to a safe place to be in the afternoons, with healthy food options
• Improved understanding of academic content appropriate to student’s grade level
• Increased homework comprehension and completion
• Improved literacy skills
• Enhanced parental involvement in children’s schooling
• Connection of academic content to students’ own life experiences
• Relationships built across language, ethnic, and cultural differences
