A new tradition began at Flora & Fauna this year!

Our teachers gathered in the lush North Carolina mountains for a retreat to escape the Atlanta heat, enjoy good food, and spend time together.

It was a wonderful opportunity to welcome our newest team member, Ms. Lisa, and reconnect before the busy school year begins. Long walks along the creek, gentle hikes, beautiful mountain scenery, and plenty of conversation left us feeling refreshed and excited for the year ahead.

I can’t wait to see this team in action when our students arrive in just a few weeks.

We had a special event last week at Flora & Fauna—a “QU Wedding”! Q and U got married because they simply can’t live without each other. Our older students planned and led the wedding, guiding the younger ones through a playful experience that brought a spelling pattern to life… followed, of course, by wedding cupcakes.
