🟦 Week 5 – Parent Communication

💼 Provider Tip:
Consistent communication doesn’t just prevent problems—it builds trust, comfort, and confidence in your care.

🛠 Actionable Example:
Keep parents informed throughout the day with small, meaningful updates:

*A quick morning message: “Today we’re focusing on sharing skills 🤝”
*Letting them know about changes in routine (late nap, extra outdoor time, etc.)
*Sharing highlights: “She did amazing using her words today!”

Giving a heads up on anything important (mood changes, minor bumps, low appetite)
These little updates help parents feel connected even when they’re away.

✨ Why It Matters:
When parents know what’s happening during their child’s day, it removes uncertainty. It reassures them that their child is safe, cared for, and truly seen. Over time, this builds trust, reduces miscommunication, and makes tough conversations easier because that foundation is already there.

💡 Tye’s Tiny Tots:
At Tye’s Tiny Tots, communication is more than updates—it’s a partnership. We keep parents informed, involved, and confident every step of the way so each child can succeed 💙

🎉 We’ve reached the halfway point of our 8-Week Provider Tip Series! Thank you for showing up for your little learners every day.

💛 We’re on Week 4, and there’s still more gems ahead — stay tuned!

🟦 Week 4 – Building Confidence Through Choices
Children build confidence when providers give them opportunities to make simple choices.

🛠 Try This:
Offer two options during the day:
“Would you like the red cup or the blue cup?”
“Do you want to play blocks or read a book?”
Giving children a voice in small decisions encourages independence and self-confidence.

💡At Tyes Tiny Tots We empower children by creating spaces where their choices matter.

🟦 Week 3 – Learning Through Play

Play is more powerful than it looks — it builds real learning skills!

🛠 Try This:
Next time your child is stacking blocks, ask questions like:
• “How many blocks tall is your tower?”
• “What do you think will happen if we add one more?”
Simple moments like these help children practice counting, predicting, and problem-solving.

🎯 Intentional play = early learning.

💡 At Tye’s Tiny Tots, every activity is designed with purpose — even when it looks like just fun and games!

✨ Tyes Tiny Tots Provider Tips – Week 3 ✨

As part of our 8 Weeks of Tye’s Tiny Tots Tips, we’re sharing simple strategies that help childcare providers and parents create learning opportunities throughout the day.

🟦 Week 3 – Snack & Meal Management

💼 Tip: Meals = Teaching Opportunities

🛠 Try This:
Label snack trays with both pictures and words, and allow children to serve themselves when appropriate.
This simple change helps providers:
• encourage independence
• build early literacy recognition
• support decision-making skills
• create positive food routines

💡 Tiny Tots Philosophy:
At Tye’s Tiny Tots, we turn everyday routines into learning moments. Even snack time becomes an opportunity to practice independence, confidence, and healthy habits.

🟦 Week 2 – Separation Anxiety

Welcome to Week 2 of our Parent Tips series! 🤍
Let’s talk about something almost every family experiences at some point — separation anxiety at drop-off.

Those tearful goodbyes can tug at your heart, but here’s the truth: children thrive on consistency. The way you say goodbye matters more than how long you stay.

Drop-offs should be confident and quick.

🛠 Try This:
Create a 10-second goodbye routine:
✔ Hug
✔ “I love you.”
✔ “I’ll be back after snack time.”

Then leave.
No sneaking back in. No extending the goodbye.
When your child sees that you are calm and consistent, they begin to feel safe and secure. Over time, that routine builds trust — and trust builds confidence.

💡 At Tye’s Tiny Tots, we practice consistent drop-off routines, helping children feel safe, supported, and confident from day one.

Hey everyone! For Week 2 of our 8-week series, we’re focusing on something that makes a huge difference in any classroom — daily schedule efficiency.

🟦 Week 2 – Daily Schedule Efficiency

💼 Tip: Predictable schedules create smoother days.

🛠 Actionable Example:
Use a visual daily schedule in each classroom that clearly shows transitions like circle time, snack, centers, and outdoor play. When children know what’s coming next, behavior improves and staff can stay consistently on track.

At Tye’s Tiny Tots, we’ve found that maintaining a clear daily flow reduces distractions, supports smoother transitions, and allows teachers to focus more on meaningful learning experiences.

Hey Parents! 👋🏽
Over the next 8 weeks, we’ll be sharing simple, practical parenting tips that support emotional growth and positive behavior at home.
This week’s tip is especially for those navigating big toddler feelings. 💛

🟦 Week 1 – Tantrums & Emotional Language

✨ Parent Insight
Tantrums are often frustration — not defiance.

🛠 Try This at Home:
Instead of: “Stop crying.”
Try: “I see you’re upset. Are you feeling mad or sad?”
Then offer two choices:
“Do you need a hug, or do you need some space?”

💡 Why it works:
This builds emotional vocabulary AND teaches self-regulation skills early.

🌿AT Tyes Tiny Tots:
We intentionally teach children to identify their emotions, which helps them calm down faster and communicate their needs more effectively

I’ve learned a lot running Tye’s Tiny Tots, and I truly love what I do 💙

For the next 8 weeks, I’m sharing simple, actionable tips that have helped me grow, stay consistent, and create a program that supports both providers and the families we serve.

🟦 Week 1 – Filling Enrollment
💼 Tip: Visibility = Enrollment
👀 If families don’t see you, they can’t enroll with you.

🛠 Action Step:
• Join 3–5 local parent groups
• Post a quick “Day in the Life” video of your program
• Mention if you currently have openings
• Ask current families to share your post

At Tye’s Tiny Tots, we keep parents informed and engaged — and that visibility helps us maintain a full classroom year-round.

✨ Don’t wait until you’re empty to start marketing. Stay visible even when you’re full!
