I got a call from Mrs. Rauline Warren today requesting prayer for Michael. He’s is currently in the ER waiting to get a room. He has some infection in his body that they need to treat. She will give me an update later today, but for now, if you could just stop and pray for him and the family during this time it would be greatly appreciated. God knows what’s going on with his body and he has it his hands.

I would like to thank all of those who helped make our Back to School Bash a success. We got to play some games with the kids before the rain showers came, bouncy house, volleyball, dodgeball, corn hole to eating hot dogs and the fixings to go with them, all the way to giving each kid a few school items to get them started on the right track to start the new school year. We had around 50 people to show up today and it was great to see 20 kids here. I want each one those kids to know that we at Sweet Gum Grove FWB Church love you and are praying for you to have a great school year. Again, thank you Sweet Gum Grove Church family for all you do for our church and our kids. God bless, Pastor Steve

Anyone that would like to go to this concert on Sunday September 20th at 4pm please see Pastor Steve. The concert is going to be at First Baptist Church in Washington, N.C. and it’s no charge, but a love offering will be taken.
