Pooh's Tender Care Pooh's Tender Care is a Licensed In-Home Preschool & Child Care. Pooh's Tender Care has offered quality child care for the past 14 years.

We provide a safe, clean, fun, and developmentally age appropriate atmosphere. As an in-home child care facility and Preschool program we focus on each child's individual needs. Children learn through hands on play and age appropriate activities. We encourage independence and respect for others, to reinforce and enrich skills and concepts they need. Our wonderful preschool program is from 8a.m.-12

p.m. 2,3,4,or 5 days a week. The kids eat breakfast then follow a schedule of:

*Structured free play
*Learning time/Arts & crafts
*Snack
*Outside free play
*Reading/Circle time
*Structured free play

During learning time they learn how to trace and do simple worksheets. During arts & crafts there's little projects or coloring. These both teach them and work on their fine motor skills. Structured free play they are given toys or activities that help with their development. Circle time is music, reading, letters, colors, shapes, days of the week etc. All these things help with getting them ready for kindergarten. And the like-home feel helps them feel comfortable.
