ASuop Government is responsible for advocating and working on behalf of student concerns. To benefit students, ASuop Government maintains close working relationships with the Division of Student Life and partnerships around the Stockton Community. ASuop Government has two branches: an Executive and a Legislative. These two branches work together to ensure that the student voice is heard in Univers

ity governance, supply essential and valuable service to the ASuop members, and provide the opportunity to be involved in student life at Pacific. The executive branch is made up of the President, Vice President, Treasurer, and four Commissioners, which form the cabinet. The cabinet is responsible for the day to day operations of ASuop and its services. The Senate forms the overall policy and goals of ASuop, approves the annual budget, and serves as a conduit for information to flow from the students to the University Administration. There are currently twelve senate seats, one for each school on the Stockton campus, and four Senators-at-large which represent nonacademic constituency groups. There are many different ways to get involved in ASuop and student life in general. We have many opportunities in Government, Commissions or committees that need students, or just another set of hands on a big project. Thursday, we’ll show Chavela (2017) in the CII Main Space, along with a discussion after the film. Friday, we’re back in the Long Theatre to show Embrace of the Serpent (2015). Tigers Got Talent is a performance competition between student organizations and talented Tigers during Homecoming and Family Weekend 🤩 This showcase is comprised of dancing, skits, instrumental numbers, lip syncing, and more. If you are interested in presenting yourself and your talents to Pacific community, head to our link tree to register before September 24th!

DOORS OPEN AT 5:45! There will be a free raffle giveaway at the end of the screening for a Blu-Ray DVD of the film with an additional digital version! 👀 We hope to see you there! 🎬
