"Chavez Alumni! Chavez HS has a group of young and energetic teachers who in need of Chavez Alumni. They are planning a College 101 Evening for our students on April 12, 2018 from 4-7 pm. We are seeking current alumni who are in enrolled in nearby colleges who would be willing/able to speak to students and parents about their college experience and the transition to college. If you are an alumni that would be willing to participate in this event please send us your contact information, we would greatly appreciate it."

Next week, we will be celebrating our recognition as one of the BEST SCHOOL in the county and we will be having a spirit week.

Seniors, buy your yearbook before they are SOLD OUT. There are only 19 yearbooks left. The cost is $95 and you can purchase them in the student store.

For a limited of time, you can purchase the yearbooks from your freshman, sophomore, and junior year for only $100 in the student store.

Hey Seniors! Just a few updates for you guys.

Good Afternoon Class of 2016. We are finally seniors. We will be taking our senior portraits the week of July 20-24, 2015, signifying our fourth and final year of high school. HOW EXCITING!

If you have not received your appointment in the mail for senior portraits yet, call Prestige Portraits (916)-844-1221. Prestige Portraits open on Tuesday-Saturday from 10am-6pm.

Senior Session Value Packs:
BASIC - $20 (6-8 images taken, up to 1 outfits, up to 1 backgrounds, plan for up to 1 hour. Includes yearbook.)
STANDARD - $25 (10-12 images taken, up to 2 outfits, up to 3 backgrounds, plan up to 1.5 hours. Includes yearbook and cap and gown)
DELUXE- $35 (18-20 images taken, up to 3 outfits, up to 5 backgrounds, plan for up to 2 hours. Includes yearbook, cap and gown, casual.)
ULTIMATE, Best Value - $40 (24-30 images taken, up to 4 outfits, up to 7 backgrounds, plan for up to 2.5 hours. Includes yearbook, cap and gown, and 2 casual outfits.)
