The latest update on GM Art Miraflor's temporarily move to Elkton/Newark area.
GM Art has temporarily moved to the Elkton/Newark area due to work assignment.

He is opening up time to train with, what ever schools in the area, that's wanting to learn, the highly sought Mirarada Escrima System, of Filipino Martial Arts, originating from the Philippines.

GM Art, will only be in this area, for about a year, after that, plans on moving down to, Oxford, Mississippi.

Grand Master Rene Latosa and I have been friends since 1968, when we were students under, Grand Master Angel Cabales, in Stockton, California.
Rene was senior to me, and we banged a lot of sticks together, as back than, we didn't use Rattan, we use wood dowels, and broke sticks almost every class.
I was blessed to have Rene sign my Grand Master Certificate, along with Guru Dan Inosanto's signature, very special moment for me.
RIP my good friend, see you on thee otherside.

Master Kevin Bradbury is one of my Instructors in the Mirarada Escrima System, he’s #008 and would practice with me, along with Master Mark Lynn, at my apartment in Grand Prairie, Texas. They came for about a year and a half, and did we have fun.
Of course Mark recorded all of our sessions for his files.
Kevin and Jackie Bradbury have done an excellent job of building their school in Kansas City and have a great future to look forward to.

Master Brandon Arthur Lee Miraflor, is my most Senior Instructor of the Mirarada Escrima System. His Master certificate is #001. Brandon started when he was three years old, sitting in the corner of the class, watching dad do his thing with sticks.
Brandon is also President of our Mirarada System.

Got to spend some quality time with one of my Senior Mirarada Instructors, Master Byron Manabe along with Alex W. Manabe and Isaiah Rosales and Byron's son's in Antioch, Tennessee. Byron is Sanctioned and Approved to teach Mirarada Escrima System, for over 30 years.

While working in Hawaii, got to spend some quality time with, Master Burton Richardson , he’s got a great gig going in Hawaii, as it's a stop-over for great FMA martial artist from all over the world.
