Stockton CTA will be hosting a school board candidate meet-and-greet on Wednesday, April 1, at 6:30 pm in the Stockton High School Commons. CTA will have a mediator that will ask candidates questions relevant to current education policies and concerns. There will be a short time at the end for questions from the public. Refreshments will be provided.

I'm pleased to announce this endorsement by Missouri's oldest teaching association. The old saying goes that if you want to lead the band, you have to turn your back to the crowd. I've been facing the kids--and facing the music, so to speak--for 35 years. This may be the most challenging year yet, but we'll "band together" and make it work. I know the MSTA is with me as a classroom teacher and I'm thrilled to have their support as a candidate in the MO128.
