The countdown is on — the end of the school year is near, and our seniors are getting ready to trade hall passes for life plans!

Before they head off on their next big adventure, let’s show them just how much they mean to us. Help us make their final days here unforgettable with love, laughter, and plenty of school spirit!

Big news from Merlo! Two of our amazing seniors, Nibardo and Lally, have been accepted to UC Berkeley—one of the top universities in the world with an ultra-competitive 11% acceptance rate! That’s right, these two crushed the odds and secured their spot at one of California’s most prestigious schools. To top it off, they got to visit the campus this week and experience the energy of Berkeley firsthand.

Today, our sophomore class had an incredible adventure exploring CSU Stanislaus! The students immersed themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of college life, getting a firsthand look at everything it has to offer. To top off the excitement, students enjoyed a delicious sweet treat

Yesterday, our Merlo PLUS students participated at the PLUS Summit, showcasing their leadership skills by guiding 8th graders through an array of exciting activities.

Our mock trial team took home several individual awards for the 2025 SJ County Mock Trial competition including 2 top attorneys, 3 top witnesses and the top clerk! Congratulations!
