Youth Share International A People-To-People Educational Organization Providing Host Family Based Cultural Exchanges and Programs for Students and Professionals Since 1994.

Youth Share International (YSI) is an organization of volunteers that began in 1993 as a result of friendships formed in the first Russian-American high school exchange in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia under the Freedom Support Act (Bradley Bill). In 1994,our organization YSI was created to continue these exchanges. Over the years, YSI has hosted dozens of groups of Russian students. In addition to form

al groups, we have exchanged, many individuals and families from Russia, Turkey, South America, Asia, Europe and California, who have traveled to each others' homes on their own to renew the friendships formed on the initial exchanges. In 1997, educators from California attended the "Crossroads of Culture" conference in Nizhniy Novgorod sponsored by the Linguistic University of Nizhniy Novgorod (LUNN), the Moscow School District and Linguistic Gymnasium #67. There have been many continuing communications following this conference. In today's digital world, YSI believes it is more crucial than ever to promote "people to people" exchanges and cultural experiences.

Recently the world lost a beautiful soul. She was a pioneer in education, global exchange, incredible professor, inspirational visionary, passionate leader of the Linguistic University of Nizhniy Novgorod and witty, funny, and charismatic warm heart and she was always ready for a conference or gathering or round table to exchange ideas with global friends. She brought history to life with her lectures. Youth Share International could not have succeeded without the leadership and vision of our dear Margarita. ❤️ She brought students, educators, aspiring film makers and journalists, launched internships, business professionals and industry leaders from all over the world together in our exchanges and welcomed many of our host families and community leaders to global conferences at LUNN. We love you Margarita and will forever miss and remember you. Thank you for all of your work in making YSI a success and for being such an incredible leader in this world. We love you.

Только что мы отмечали 27-летие Американского центра и программ американского английского в НГЛУ, и вот сегодня пришла печальная новость: вчера не стало нашей всеобщей "мамы Маргариты", Маргариты Сергеевны Красильниковой, благодаря чьей инициативе, неуемной энергии, терпению и труду все это получилось. Всем лучшим, что связано у многих из нас с университетом, мы обязаны именно ей. Светлая, светлая память, благодарность и любовь навсегда.

Прощание с Маргаритой Сергеевной состоится в четверг, 12.00 в ритуальном зале Бугровского кладбища. Похороны на Марьиной роще.

We will be having a Celebration of Life for our dorogaya ya-ya, Charlsa Knobloch, creator, mother and eternal life an spirit of Youth Share International.

She will be greatly missed, but her dreams and achievements live on with all of you amazing students, teachers, host families and sisters and brothers from around the world that have been a pat of YSI. ❤️🌎🌺🎉😍🙏 You inspired her to continue bridging cultural barriers and opening homes and lives to all international students.
