The 34th Annual San Joaquin County Office of Education Educational Foundation (SJCOEEF) Golf Shootout was held on Sept. 25 at Brookside Country Club. Golfers participated in the tournament to raise funds that support countywide student events such as the Academic Decathlon, Mock Trial, outdoor education, and spelling bees. The SJCOEEF would like to thank the volunteers who contributed to the success of the event and all who participated in the tournament to support San Joaquin County students.

The 33rd Annual San Joaquin County Office of Education Educational Foundation (SJCOEEF) Golf Shootout was held on Sept. 26 at Brookside Country Club. 125 golfers participated in the tournament to raise funds that support countywide student events such as the Academic Decathlon, Mock Trial, outdoor education, and spelling bees. Congratulations to Ishaan Ajay (left), San Joaquin County Spelling Bee champion for the Junior High Division. Ishaan is an eighth-grader at Brookside Elementary School (Lincoln Unified School District). This year's second-place award goes to Andrae Raymundo, a seventh-grader at North Elementary School (Tracy Unified School District). Both students will represent San Joaquin County in the state championship in May 2022.
And congratulations to all the Junior High Division spellers who competed today and to all the Elementary Division spellers who competed on Monday.
