A warm and joyful Easter get-together with our Red Rhino kids as they came home for their Easter break 🤍✨🧡

Laughter filled the room, memories were made, and hearts were full. We shared delicious KFC, sweet cake, and even sweeter moments together.

So grateful for these beautiful times. 💛 🧡

From intense chess battles ♟️ to showing off our big vocab in Scrabble 🔤 and having the best time with fun animal games 🐾😂 — it’s always laughter, learning, and a little friendly competition!

Nothing beats learning, bonding, and growing through play 💛.

Nairobi has been experiencing extremely heavy rains and subsequent flooding, causing many deaths in the city and outlying areas.

In addition, the heavy rains in Kibera made it unsafe for the children to be walking from their schools unprotected from the weather. So we bought 50 pair of gum boots, 50 raincoats, and 20 umbrellas so that our precious children can be able to come to the center every day protected from the weather.

It’s plain to see how happy they all were with the rain gear. 😄✨🩵

Yesterday we celebrated 3 incredible years of the Joey Shepherd Resource Center 🎉

What a beautiful journey it has been! In just three years, we have seen transformation, growth, and powerful change within the Kibera community , lives touched, hope restored, and dreams rising. 💛
