Welcome back Tigers!!! We’re so excited to kick of the Fall 2020 semester with you. We hope you can join us on Monday from 4-5 for our Welcome to the GEC Meet & Greet! This Zoom event will give us the opportunity to connect, reflect, and set intentions for the upcoming semester. Also, learn about GEC resources and upcoming events! Today marks the beginning of Pride Month - 51 years ago, Marsha P. Johnson, Sylvia Rivera, Stormé DeLarverie, and many other q***r and trans women of color united in acts of resistance to police brutality towards the LGBTQ+ community at Stonewall Inn. Let us celebrate the progress we have made, honor the shoulders on which we stand, and recognize the work that still remains to be done. Let us uplift the voices of the most marginalized within our community, and challenge injustice always, and in all ways. We stand in solidarity with all who are hurting at the hands of injustice, for “No pride for some of us without liberation for all of us.”
