Today marks the beginning of Pride Month - 51 years ago, Marsha P. Johnson, Sylvia Rivera, StormĂ© DeLarverie, and many other q***r and trans women of color united in acts of resistance to police brutality towards the LGBTQ+ community at Stonewall Inn. Let us celebrate the progress we have made, honor the shoulders on which we stand, and recognize the work that still remains to be done. Let us uplift the voices of the most marginalized within our community, and challenge injustice always, and in all ways. We stand in solidarity with all who are hurting at the hands of injustice, for âNo pride for some of us without liberation for all of us.â
