The Conservatory of Music is expanding degree offerings! The new programs include a bachelor’s degree in musical theatre and graduate programs in performance, jazz studies, conducting and voice pedagogy. The first students will enroll in fall 2027. Learn more below:

Conservatory of Music expands degree offerings The Conservatory of Music is launching five new degree programs, marking one of the school’s largest academic expansions in decades as it continues a period of rapid enrollment growth.

Conservatory faculty & alumni often collaborate with community music programs where they carry out Pacific's legacy of excellence in music education. In July 2026, we had a strong representation at the annual Hayward La Honda Music Camp. Click on photos for more details.

Oboist Jesse Barrett '09 (BM, music performance) is a NYC-based orchestral & vocal performer. In winter 2026, he performed the on-stage oboe solos in his Off-Broadway debut for Gian Carlo Menotti's "Amahl and the Night Visitors" at Lincoln Center Theatre in association with The Metropolitan Opera. Bravo!
