Soprano Jennifer Youngs '02 (BM, music performance) is an acclaimed vocalist known for her leading opera roles & solo performances. She's a member of the Grammy-nominated ensemble The South Dakota Chorale & serves on faculty at the Brigham Young University School of Music. Brava!

Conservatory of Music expands degree offerings 08/03/2026

The Conservatory of Music is expanding degree offerings! The new programs include a bachelor’s degree in musical theatre and graduate programs in performance, jazz studies, conducting and voice pedagogy. The first students will enroll in fall 2027. Learn more below:

Oboist Jesse Barrett '09 (BM, music performance) is a NYC-based orchestral & vocal performer. In winter 2026, he performed the on-stage oboe solos in his Off-Broadway debut for Gian Carlo Menotti's "Amahl and the Night Visitors" at Lincoln Center Theatre in association with The Metropolitan Opera. Bravo!
