Calling all Stockton Car Clubs!! Join M.E.Ch.A de Pacific for our annual Car Show & Shine! If you are interested in show casing your car, please email [email protected]. There is no registration fee or application. This event is free and open to Pacific Students and the Stockton Community!

Save the date: March 31, 2020- April 3, 2020. Join us during the last week of March to celebrate our annual Chicanx Week. All events are free and open to the Stockton Community!! We hope to see y'all there! 😁

Join us today at 5:00pm at the Intercultural Student Success Center for a Conversation with María Elena Serna, advocate of the Farm Workers Movement! Light refreshments will be provided!

Fellow Mechistas! just wanted to remind you all about our events during Chicanx Week!

On Monday, the Latin American Studies Program here at Pacific will be hosting Sylvia Aguilar Zeleny, who will be speaking about the increased killing of women in Ciudad Juarez. She will be in WPC 140 at 6:00 pm to give her presentation.

On Tuesday, M.E.Ch.A will be hosting a Chicanx Chat on the topics of DACA, TPS, and other important Immigration issues! We will have experts in Immigration Law talk about these issues and answer any questions the public or students may have. This event will be held in the WPC 140 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. This is event is free and open to the public so stop by to gain some valuable information.

On Wednesday M.E.Ch.A will be hosting a Noche de Arte! Join us for a night that celebrates Latinx and Chianx culture through various forms of art. We are still accepting submissions of art, spoken word, and all other forms of art! The deadline to submit is Sunday March 25, 2018 at 5:00 pm. On Thursday, we will be hosting our annual Flan and Games! This night will be filled with great food and fun games. Stop by to de-stress from the week! This event will be held in DUC from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

On Friday, we will be ending our week with our annual Show and Shine! Please join us for some music, food, and fun! The Show and Shine will be on March 30, 2018 from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

All events are free to students and the public, so stop by!!

We would love it if some of y’all could come out with your cars and help us showcase our Chicanx and Latinx Culture. 🇲🇽🇦🇷🇭🇳🇬🇹The show and shine is our biggest event for the spring semester and could use all the help we can get!

So bring your cars 🚗🚙 and families 👨‍👩‍👧👨‍👩‍👧‍👦👩‍👩‍👧👨‍👨‍👦There will be food, music, fun, and we will be having a people’s choice this year!

Mecha de Pacific will be hosting a Spoken Word/Art night 🎨🎭🎨🎭on March 28, 2018. If you are interested in submitting art or performing a Spoken word piece please message us or email [email protected].

We are not looking for paid entertainment, we just want to help fellow students, local artists and others showcase their art and passions.

All submissions and inquiries will be due by March 25, 2018!

Our Posada has officially started! Come down to the UC Ballroom to enjoy some free food, live entertainment and our silent auction!

Our Posada will be held on December 1, 2017 in the DeRosa University Center Ballroom from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm.
